CASE COMPETITION - SUSTAINABILITY CYCLE
As one of the most visited cities in Europe, Barcelona generates millions of euros through tourism every year, but what are the environmental and social consequences of the industry on the city and its people? And how can sustainable and environmentally aware business practices change this for the better?
Let us introduce you to the 2020 edition of the Case Writing Competition held by oikos Barcelona. This event consists in solving a case regarding sustainability by teams.🌱 There will be official judges who will choose the winners.
It will be celebrated on February 29th at the Fusion Point, from 9 am to 5pm. The price is 5€ per person and it includes breakfast and lunch.

YOGA CLASS IN SANT CUGAT
Hello ! From oikos Barcelona we would like to invite you to our first yoga class in order to collect money for the oikos forest 🌳 🌈 🧘♀
oikos forest is an initiative that pretends to mentallize about deforestation throughout the plantation of our own forest.
Moreover, we will be having a very experienced yoga teacher with great formation! It will be a beginners level class, so that everyone can participate. The event will be on Tuesday, March 10th at 18:30 , it will take place at Hotel Sant Cugat ( Carrer de Cèsar Martinell, 2, 08172 Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona) and it will have a price of 3 euros (to oikos forest). CLIMATE CHANGE: A TRIPLE PERSPECTIVE
The team of Pedralbes has organized a conference for next Tuesday, the 18th of February: Climate Change: A triple perspective.
We will have various masters that will talk about the environment and climate change from a multidisciplinary perspective: legal, political and business.
We will go into the main aspects of the European Union's agenda in environmental affairs, we will better understand the relationship of forces between world powers in relation to the environment, as well as the winners and losers of climate change, new challenges and key aspects of the energy transition. We will understand which is the role played by the companies and how they are affected by climate change situations.
The event will begin at 18:30 in classroom 26 of Building 1 (ESADE Avenida de Pedralbes, 60-62).
